Inspiration is a matter of openness and trust. When it clicks – between the team and location – that’s where creative flights of inspiration take place. We are all the more delighted to have shot our new campaign with such talented people in such beautiful surroundings. Johanna & Friedrich Gräfling’s estate in Wiesen, Franconia, was a perfect fit for our campaign, as it’s the passion for art, design – and books – that unites our label with the couple and can be felt in every corner of their home. The vision of our Creative Director, Julie Cordier, is one of clarity and rigour, but not without a wealth of loving detail. With the on-site help of our Managing Director, Sabine Kochendörfer, she focused on creating a dreamy atmosphere of tranquillity, elegance and love. Love for our own thoughts, our surroundings and the people who are a unique part of our lives and projects – spanning generations. After all, creative work is almost always a collective endeavour. We may write in our notebooks alone, but an artistic vision requires a variety of hands, supporters and creators. And when it all comes together, it’s like being immersed in the warm summer light – the best high around.
Photographer Ramon Haindl’s eye for the perfect moment, which is also evident in Sebastian Heindorf’s cinematography, captures the most beautiful perspectives with an incomparable combination of lightness and liveliness. Models Tatiana Chechetova, Mykola Bondarenko, Kristian Leonhardt and Samy looked incredible with our nuuna notebooks paired with the hair and make-up by Adrienne Kremer and styling by Tara Malek with the assistance of Aimée Lorenz was simply perfect. Leonie Füllenbach kept an eye on everything and photographed the “making of”. The help of Nicole Piltz and Sabrina Ott from our nuuna-team eased the entire process.
